Week 1 & 2

  • Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
  • Work Preparation Training including: Safeguarding, First Aid, Communication Skills, Positive Attitudes, Health & Safety, etc.
  • BKSB diagnostic testing for English and Maths

Week 3, 4, 5 & 6

  • Work Experience including: Observations of T&L, Classroom Support, Extra curricular activities, Duty supervision, etc.

Aspire Education Teaching Assistant Academy provide opportunities to local young people to support teaching and learning in schools, by working in partnership with schools to provide training for Level 2 Teaching Assistants through Traineeships.
