Laura C
Central Technical Support Officer · Müller
After finishing my apprenticeship, I have gone on to be a Central Technical Support Officer. The role involves a lot of problem solving, creating standards and technical improvement projects across six different sites, with a strong focus on process and CIP. It's a very varied role which relies heavily on knowledge of dairy technology, gained through my apprenticeship.

Q&A with Laura
A highlight of my career so far is being seconded to Process and Ingredients Shift Manager, due
to working across the departments during my apprenticeship and through Covid.
This then got me nominated for Apprentices on the Frontline which was a proud
moment for me.
I work
with so many different people across the different sites and have a variety of projects in motion at any
one time, which can be challenging. However, this aspect is also so rewarding, in that I get to create great
working relationships with sites and have a strong network of support.
When I applied for my apprenticeship, I wasn't totally sure what I was signing myself up for. I knew roughly where I wanted to be but not sure how to get there. Five years on I am loving what I do and am so thankful I took a chance. What I am trying to say is, go for it! If you work hard, opportunities always appear.
