What are your interests outside of work?  

In my free time I enjoy reading self-help books and fictional books . I also like listening to podcast s and playing chess .  

 
Can you describe your job and what you do on a day-to-day basis?  

What my role as a data scientist entail is working with professionals in the field. to gain hands-on experience using data analysis tools and techniques, with use of Python and R, machine learning algorithms, and statistical analysis. I also get to see the impacts from a business perspective.  

What has been the highlight of your career so far?  

Working for a company that aims to save the lives of billions of people and on a micro level and finishing projects that I have been assigned .  

What has been the biggest challenge of your career so far?  

Balancing a degree and a job at the same time.  

What sort of support network do you have at your company?  

I have monthly meetings at Anglian Ruskin University with my manager. I get g reat support from my team and across the business  

What would be your words of advice to someone thinking about doing an apprenticeship?  

To reflect on the values of the company and understand the role you are applying for and to be yourself !
