International Dressage rider and judge Judy Harvey seeks an apprentice groom to join her team. Candidates should possess basic equine experience and demonstrate confidence in handling large competition horses. This role is ideal for a young rider with their own horse who is eager to kickstart a career in dressage.

The position entails various general yard duties, including mucking out and maintaining yard tidiness, turning horses in and out, grooming, tacking up, show preparation, and assisting with youngstock. There's also the exciting opportunity to groom at shows and receive ample training on your own horse.

Candidates with a Grade 4 GCSE in both English and Maths are preferable. Essential skills include strong communication, attention to detail, organization, problem-solving capabilities, and a passion for working with horses.

Accommodation for candidates aged 18 and above, along with livery for their own horse, is available for the right individual. Notably, this location is not accessible by public transport.

Upon completing this apprenticeship, there are opportunities for progression to the Level 3 Senior Groom and potential full-time employment.
