What you’ll do at work
- Mucking out and keeping yard tidy
- Feeding, filling haynets and water buckets
- Carrying out daily horse care routines
- Grooming, tacking up and turning horses in and out
- Assisting with exercise and fitness programmes
- Riding to a decent level / please include your riding experience on CV
- Carrying out general yard duties
- Ensuring horses are cared for to a high standard
- Following health and safety procedures
- Working as part of the wider yard team

Training you'll get
Your training plan
- You will be working towards the Level 2 Equine apprenticeship qualification, and all training will be provided on-site during your paid working hours
- Your day-to-day mentoring will be with your employer, and a combination of online and in person monthly sessions will be held with your Haddon Training Trainer Coach
Future prospects
- Possibility of progressing to the Level 3 Senior Groom and or full time employment
