Daily jobs will include;
Mucking out/keeping yard area tidy
Feeding/filling hay nets and water buckets
Turning in and out
Picking out feet/rugging up
Grooming/tacking up
Tack cleaning
Bathing/show prep
Lunging/long reining
Holding for farrier/vet/dentist
Riding for the right candidate
Experience with horses is essential.

Qualifications required
GCSE or equivalent in: English (grade 4), Maths (grade 4)
Training you'll get
You’ll study to gain professional knowledge and skills. You will be working towards achieving your Level 2 Equine Groom apprenticeship, and also completing your maths and English Functional skills at level 1 or 2 if required.
Future prospects
Your earnings can increase over time with an apprenticeship. Potential progression to the Level 3 Senior Equine Groom apprenticeship or employment for the right candidate.
