About Company
Proptech, software company who create software to help make the buying, selling and lettings process easier for everyone from Estate Agents, Letting Agents, Landlords and me and you as consumers.
The Role
If you join us, you’ll be helping to improve the property industry for everyone. If you love autonomy, are naturally curious, and want to have a genuine impact within a growing company, we think you’d fit right in! We’re now looking for an IT Support Apprentice to join our small, growing internal IT team. You’ll be supporting around 225 colleagues across the business, reporting to our IT Manager, while working towards a Level 3 Information Communications Technician apprenticeship over 17 months.
On a day-to-day basis, you’ll be the first point of contact for IT support across Street Group. You’ll pick up requests, troubleshoot problems and get people back up and running, so our IT Manager can focus on bigger projects. As your knowledge grows, you’ll get hands-on, supervised experience across the wider IT setup, including devices, cloud tools, networking and security, and take on more responsibility as the programme goes on. You don’t need previous experience in an IT job. What matters most is a real interest in technology, a patient and helpful approach, and a desire to learn and grow with us. Your off-the-job learning time is protected, and we’ll work closely with your training provider throughout.
Here’s what you can expect to be working on as an IT Support Apprentice at Street Group
Acting as the first line of support for IT tickets and requests from colleagues, resolving issues or escalating them with clear notes
Setting up, configuring and issuing laptops (Mac and Windows) for new starters, and processing returned devices from leavers
Keeping our hardware asset register up to date and managing our stock of peripherals and spares
Managing user accounts and licences in Google Workspace and our other software tools, with support from the IT Manager
Looking after our meeting room video conferencing equipment and office network kit
Keeping our IT documentation and how-to guides up to date so colleagues can help themselves
Getting involved in IT projects such as device management, security tools, networking and scripting, taking on more as your apprenticeship progresses
Completing your apprenticeship learning and working with your training provider to build your skills and qualification
