All daily yard duties to include :
- Mucking out, feeding and turnout
- Lunging
- Grooming and tacking up
- Maintaining high standards of horse care and yard presentation
- Learning and developing new skills in a professional environment
- Possibility to bring your own horse (contribution required)
- Some riding available for the right candidate
Skills required
- Already have previous equine experience either working on a yard , or with having own horse/ pony.
Qualifications required
- No previous qualifications required
Training you'll get
- You will be working towards the Level 2 Equine apprenticeship qualification, and all training will be provided on site during your paid working hours
- Your day-to-day mentoring will be with your employer, and a combination of online and in person monthly sessions will be held with your Haddon Training Trainer Coach
Future prospects
- Possibility of progressing to the Level 3 Senior groom and or full time employment .
