Job Responsibilities
Reception & Office Support
Answer and screen incoming calls, enquiries and requests, dealing with them where appropriate or directing them to the relevant team member
Ensure the reception area is staffed and presented professionally
Welcome clients and visitors, direct them to meeting rooms and provide refreshments when required
Check the answering machine each morning and pass messages to the appropriate team member
Maintain a clean, organised and professional office environment
Monitor office supplies and stock levels and arrange or request orders when required
Manage incoming and outgoing post, ensuring correspondence is distributed or filed appropriately
Administration & Business Support
Carry out a range of general administrative duties, including preparing documents, printing, scanning, photocopying and filing
Manage diaries, appointments and meeting arrangements
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records with Companies House and HMRC on behalf of clients
Liaise with suppliers, obtain quotations and maintain supplier and contract records
Assist with basic sales ledger and purchase ledger duties
Support the client onboarding and engagement process, ensuring documentation is completed promptly
Request and collect required client documentation and identification in line with anti-money laundering requirements
Set up and maintain accurate client records on internal systems
Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the Office Manager and Business Support Manager
Events & Team Support
Assist with planning and organising company events, meetings and team activities
Support the wider team with administrative tasks and business activities as required

Qualification & Development
As part of the apprenticeship, you’ll work towards a Level 3 Business Administration qualification, developing practical skills alongside your workplace experience.
Your training will include online live teaching and performance coaching, professional workshops and work-based projects. You’ll develop skills in areas such as business administration, communication, organisation, customer service, digital systems and supporting business operations.
The role provides the opportunity to build a strong foundation in business administration while gaining valuable experience within a professional environment.
