Deliver excellent customer service with a smile.
Day-to-day operation of the Café, including cleanliness, tidiness, and security of all areas.
Ensure correct hygiene procedures are always followed by the team.
Ensure the toilet and play areas are checked regularly throughout the day.
Supervise front of house team members in Café Managers absence.
Follow and implement start of day procedures.
Work with Chefs/Manager on the end of day procedures and completion of required paperwork and SFBB.
Maximise sales and profits by minimising wastage and increasing customer sales where possible by upselling.
Excellent presentation to customer of cakes, sandwiches, salads, drinks, and sundries
Ensure all health, hygiene and safety procedures, processes and record keeping are followed, ensuring we are compliant.
Make sure that the deck and courtyard areas are kept tidy flooring swept, ashtrays emptied.
Make Chefs /Manager aware when stock is low i.e., crisps, canned drinks etc... in fridges/stock room so more can be ordered – by writing on the white board.
Remove all empty packaging cardboard etc... from stock room when the packaging is empty.
Ensure packaging for recycling is sorted and stored correctly until fortnightly collection.
Ensure the specials menu boards are changed as required.
Any other adhoc duties requested by managers/owners.

Qualifications required
Ideally Maths and English GCSE 4/C or above
