At The Dolls House Nursery and Pre-school, we realise the importance of working in partnership with parents, and celebrate independence and individuality of each child. We have a very ‘open’ policy towards parents who can phone at any time; especially at the baby stage. Parents, as well as children, join our nursery as members and are respected and valued, kept informed by periodic news-letters, consulted and involved with an open day twice a year. Whilst developing confidence and self-awareness in a safe, friendly atmosphere, your child will be encouraged to share and participate in group activities, making decisions and choices in a self-initiated learning situation. All seven areas of learning are covered from birth to school age according to OFSTED approved ‘Early Years Foundation Stage’ curriculum. A safe and stimulating environment is provided in which all children, including those with special educational needs, are supported to reach their full potential.
