Barton Primary School is a small, friendly, successful school, in the heart of a village community. Our school was inspected by both Ofsted and SIAMS (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools) in April 2025, and inspectors were impressed by the welcoming atmosphere, the quality of teaching and learning, and pupils' educational experiences. We are proud of the fact that we combine the excitement of learning with high expectations. At Barton, we believe that the goal of education “should be to activate the child’s own natural desire to learn.”
