Multiskilled Engineering Operative Apprentice

Corrosion Resistant Products Ltd (CRP) is a specialist UK manufacturer based in Littleborough. CRP designs and manufactures corrosion-resistant PTFE and PFA lined pipework, fittings and engineered equipment for demanding industries. Manufacturing is carried out at its Littleborough facility, giving apprentices the opportunity to learn in an established engineering environment with a range of in-house production processes. CRP states that it supports employee development through internal and external training and actively encourages career growth.

Monday - Thursday: 8.30am - 5.00pm and Friday: 8.30am - 4.30pm. These are CRP's published business hours. Contracted hours and break arrangements to be confirmed by the employer. 37 hours a week1 yearCommunication skills, Organisation skills, Logical, Team working, Initiative, Physical fitness

The apprenticeship is designed as the first stage of a longer engineering development pathway at CRP. Following successful completion of the Engineering Operative Level 2 apprenticeship, the planned progression is to specialise in welding through a Level 3 apprenticeship. This provides the successful candidate with the opportunity to develop broad engineering experience first and then build more advanced specialist welding skills.
