Apprentice Engineering Technician in Mechatronic Maintenance

Burmeister & Wain Scandinavian Contractor A/S (BWSC) is a leading provider and operator of diesel, combined cycle, waste and biomass power plants designed and built to custom. Our roots go back to 1872 with the famous Danish shipyard Burmeister & Wain, which started building and installing diesel engines in 1904. In 1980, BWSC was set up as a specialist power plant engineering company. The Apprenticeship programme at one of our Biomass Power Stations at Snetterton will be focused on developing an individual with the skills to support the site with operations and maintenance support.

40 working hours per week. Previous experience of working or learning in an engineering environment.

The role requires working in a multitude of environments from indoors boiler house which can become quite warm in summer months, to working outdoors in all weathers as well as some desk-based office environment working. As the student matures there will be overtime opportunities when legally allowed to do so.
