Leisure Team Member Apprenticeship

Burnley Leisure & Culture is a registered charity employing a team of more than 100 friendly, fully qualified staff. Burnley Leisure are supported by a board of trustees who are drawn from the local community and share there passion for sport and culture in Burnley. 3 week rota, including weekends; Start time: 6.30am. Finish time: 10.30pm. Duration of breaks: 30 minutes. Days to be confirmed. 36 hours 15 minutes a week1 year 6 monthsCommunication skills, Organisation skills, Problem solving skills, Team working, Patience, Physical fitness

Essential qualifications

GCSE in:

• English (grade 2)
• Maths (grade 2)

Functional Skills in:

• English (grade Level 1)
• Maths (grade Level 1)

Other requirements

As this role incorporates lifeguarding; a minimum swimming ability is required and you will be required to undertake a swimming test in addition to satisfying college assessments. You will need a good school, college or work record of attendance, good communication skills and be able to satisfy basic literacy and numeracy requirements.
