Sophie Hulme is an event rider based in Gloucestershire with a range of horses from youngsters through to 3* and advanced competition horses. Sophie herself has a masters in equine science as well as being involved in AI, breeding and producing from her own horses. The modern stable block is part of a larger yard with fantastic facilities including arenas gallops and off road hacking.
Working 5 days out of 7, the yard will discuss shift patterns with the successful candidate. However you should be prepared to work at least 1 weekend day a week. 40 hours a week1 yearCommunication skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Team working, Initiative, Patience, Physical fitness, This position is suitable for those who already have some experience with horses, ideally competition fit horses, There is self contained accommodation available with this position and livery for own horse , The work requires working in all weathers, so please be prepared for this type of workRequirements
Desirable qualifications
GCSE in:
- English (grade 4)
- Maths (grade 4)
