You must hold a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification to be eligible for the Level 5. Health and social care is not a full and relevant childcare qualification.

• On successful completion of the Level 5 Early Years Lead Practitioner Apprenticeship, the apprentice will be well‑prepared to progress into a Deputy Manager role, with clear progression opportunities to the Nursery Manager
• The apprenticeship supports the development of leadership, management, and operational skills required to take on increased responsibility within the setting
