Other requirements

A genuine, existing interest in and participation in TCGs, TTRPGs and/or tabletop gaming. This is an essential requirement of the role, not simply desirable.
A clear interest in developing a career in digital marketing and ecommerce through an apprenticeship.
A strong willingness to learn and make responsible, commercially useful use of AI systems as a core part of the role.
Confidence using Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva to create or adapt straightforward visual assets.
Comfort with basic product photography, content capture and simple photo/video editing.
Familiarity with social media and an understanding of how professional brand content differs from personal posting.
Strong written and spoken communication, with careful spelling, tone and attention to detail.
Customer-focused, approachable and confident discussing hobby products with a varied audience.
Reliable, punctual and able to follow processes accurately, particularly when handling cash, customer orders, trading cards, stock and security.
Basic numeracy and confidence working with prices, discounts, quantities and simple commercial or marketing measures.
Able to prioritise work, use quieter periods productively and complete routine responsibilities without continuous supervision.
Able to recognise when an issue is outside their knowledge or authority and escalate it appropriately rather than guessing.
Willing to contribute to all parts of this hybrid role, including retail sales, online order dispatch, events, organised play, receiving deliveries, replenishing stock, stock counts and general store upkeep.
Comfortable completing shared cleaning duties, including tables, floors, bins, toilets, customer facilities and general shop presentation.
Willing to learn and follow opening, closing, till, cash-handling, security, incident and emergency procedures.
Willing and able to progress towards working as the sole employee in the store for periods of time, but only after receiving appropriate training and being assessed as competent, confident and authorised.
Comfortable helping to host events, welcoming players and supporting evening or weekend organised-play activities.
Available to work according to the needs of the rota, which may include some evenings and weekends.
Understands that this is not a desk-only marketing position and is comfortable moving between marketing, ecommerce, customer service, dispatch and practical shop duties during the same shift.
