Teaching Assistant SEND Level 3 Apprenticeship - Shine Learning & Training

Shine Learning & Training Centre is an alternative provision which aims to make a difference to the life outcomes of students who find mainstream education challenging. The one size fits all rule does not work for every young person, especially when it comes to education. Therefore, we offer a good quality alternative, that mixes formal and informal learning. We provide a home from home approach, so students feel comfortable in our setting but also align ourselves with many of the practises of mainstream education. We place a special focus on mentoring, prevention and Outreach, whilst also ensuring students’ academic needs are met and celebrated. Our staff are trained in Trauma Informed Approaches and youth mental health. We take a holistic approach to supporting young people and are proud of our values. Desirable qualifications

GCSE in:

• English (grade 4 or above (Level 2))
• Maths (grade 4 or above (Level 2))
