Nub News is a strong network of online local newspapers in 33 towns across the UK. There are Nub News websites with regional journalists in a broad geographical reach including Crewe, Chester, Hitchin, Twickenham, Dorchester and Congleton. The organisation’s aim is to make hyper local news easily accessible on devices without intrusive pop-up advertising, enforced surveys or clickbait dominating the agenda. Nub News’ aim is to be supportive of the local community and its associated businesses. This includes developing strong partnerships with local business to document their news stories and also create paid-for targeted advertising campaigns for them

Essential qualifications

GCSE in:

• English (grade 4/C)
• Maths (grade 4/C)
