About the Team
We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Engineer to join our Highways & Transportation Practice which sits within our Engineering Business, a unit that brings together expertise across civil engineering, drainage, pavements and aviation. Amey work with and alongside key government departments and local authorities to help shape, maintain and refurbish critical national and community infrastructure, as well as designing major highway projects.

What you’ll be doing
As a Graduate Civil Engineer within our Highways & Transportation Practice, you will provide support and assistance to a Team of Engineers to deliver a portfolio of schemes for Clients.

• Prepare/ Contribute to technical reports, design proposals, and client presentations;
• Support the delivery of engineering projects for national and local highways;
• Contribute to asset management strategies and lifecycle planning;
• Use industry-standard software and tools to model and analyse options/performance;
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including structural, geotechnical, environmental, and transport engineers;
• Develop innovative solutions and designs that comply with industry standards and guidelines;

To be considered for the pathway, you'll need to meet the following requirements:

• Civil/ Structural Engineering Degree at Grade 2:1 or above
• A Full driving License
