We need natural connectors to become ambassadors for EE and BT in communities across the country. You’ll be the face of our business, in person and online, helping people get the best out of our technology, building links with local groups and creating engaging hyperlocal social media content. It’s a newly created role – your chance to make a big impact, personally, and commercially.

What’s in it for you?

  • Online GP: Access to a private GP 24/7 for you and your immediate family
  • Paid Carer’s Leave: Market-leading carers leave with up to 2 weeks off
  • Family Leave: Equalised maternity, paternity and adoption leave – 18 weeks’ full pay and 8 weeks’ half pay in the first year
  • Huge Discounts: Save on EE & BT products, including mobile and broadband
  • Career Development: Ongoing support to help you build skills and grow your career
  • Volunteering Days: Paid time off to give back to your local community
  • Optional Private Healthcare and Dental: Protection for you and your family
  • We cover your travel: business mileage and travel expenses are reimbursed

What’s the role?
You’ll be the face of EE and BT in your community bringing the power of our technology and our brand values directly into the places where people live, work and learn. If you love making connections and meeting new people, you’ll be in your element.

There are two sides to the role. First, you’ll plan and deliver events, in person. That could be presenting to schools on online safety or delivering skills support to community groups to help people feel more confident online. Whether it’s a pop-up event in a shopping centre or a meeting in a local library, you’ll need to work closely with our marketing and strategy teams to make sure every event is high-impact.

Then there’s the commercial side of the job. You’ll build our social media presence in your area, creating short-form, locally-focused content – that could be tech tips, product explainers or positive stories from the community. You’ll also be responsible for cultivating long-term partnerships and sponsorship opportunities with local businesses and grassroots sports clubs.

It’s a highly visible role with plenty of freedom. You’ll plan your own time and manage your own budget. To succeed, you’ll need to build trust, make our offer clearer and grow market share amongst key demographics on your patch.

What you need

This could be a chance to use your skills in a new setting. We’re looking for someone who ideally has all of these skills:

  • A natural connector – you’re a people-person and a confident communicator, online and in person.
  • Commercial awareness – someone who understands the importance of brand-building, who can sell confidently and negotiate deals with local organisations.
  • A strategic and creative thinker – whether that’s finding new opportunities to connect, delivering inspiring content or looking differently at the demographic data to shape your local plan.
  • Confident using technology and social media with the organisational skills to manage your own work.
  • Be a positive presence in your local area and help us build a better connected country.
