Ready to build a market-leading Procurement desk in one of the UK's most in-demand specialisms?

We're looking for an ambitious individual to join our established Procurement team in Reading. Working alongside experienced leaders and specialist recruiters, you'll focus on the permanent Procurement market across the South, partnering with organisations to attract high-calibre professionals across a range of indirect procurement disciplines.

This is an exciting opportunity to inherit a desk with an established pipeline, improving job flow, and significant growth potential.

Your New Role:

As a specialist Procurement recruiter, you'll work with clients and candidates across a broad range of disciplines, including:

• Category Management

• Strategic Sourcing

• Supplier Relationship Management

• Facilities & Estates Procurement

• IT Procurement

• Professional Services Procurement

• Corporate Services Procurement

• Procurement Leadership

What can I expect day to day?

As a recruitment consultant you will gain exposure to a range of different activities whilst being supported by a structured training and development programme from day one. Some of your main responsibilities may include:

• Source, interview, and match high-quality candidates to roles

• Identify and proactively partner with new and existing clients through new outreach and business development calls to build better, profitable outcomes by understanding their hiring needs and challenges

• Manage the recruitment process by guiding candidates and Clients through the full recruitment process from taking a brief to negotiating offers

• Be bold and curious, developing specialist market expertise by actively seeking to understand your customer’s market

• Take accountability for meeting targets and delivering your monetary goals that contribute to the growth and profitability of Hays

• Be part of vibrant and inclusive culture that cheers on progress by celebrating personal and team performance
