Warehouse Operative

Here at GXO, we're recruiting for a Warehouse Operatives to join our team at our site in DIRFT (Daventry International Rail Freight Terminal), NN6 7EL, working on the Daikin contract.

This is a full-time, permanent position, working any 5 out of 7 days on a rotating shift pattern of 06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00, or the night shift of 22:00-06:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Load and unload vehicles safely while adhering to operational procedure
• Receive, check, and replenish stock, ensuring inventory accuracy at all times
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and follow all health and safety requirements
• Meet productivity and quality targets while supporting other areas of the operation as required

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Previous warehouse experience is desirable, but not essential
• Good attention to detail and accuracy when picking, packing, and handling stock
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team and on your own initiative
• A flexible and proactive approach to work in a fast-paced environment
• A commitment to following health and safety procedures and maintaining high standards of housekeeping
