Laris Farm is a riding school and RDA centre in Woking, Surrey , they are looking for a new member to join their team, attitude and desire to learn is more important than experience and they welcome learners with Additional needs and EHCP'S . Working hours Sunday to Thursday : 7.30am - 1pm with a break and 4pm-6pm, 4.5 days a week.

Opportunity Details
All normal yard duties to include:
- Mucking out, sweeping
- Washing and filling water buckets
- Filling Haynets and making feeds
- Bringing horses in and out from the fields
- Tacking up and untacking
- Grooming and changing rugs
- Tack cleaning
- Poo picking
- Riding available for the right candidate

Skills Required
Experience is not essential however, you must show passion and a keenness to learning and wanting to improve and develop.
Qualifications Required
Level 4+ in GCSEs / Level 1+ in Functional Skills desirable but not essential.
Contact Haddon Training to discuss if not yet achieved - Must be able to work towards Level 1 or higher in Functional Skills Maths and English
Training
Apprenticeship supported by Haddon Training, along with maths and English functional skills if required.
Personal Qualities
The ideal candidate will be able to;
- work well as part of a team
- have a love of horses whatever the weather!
- be a friendly person.
Prospects
Progression to the level 3 Senior Groom and or full time job at end of apprenticeship.
Other Information
There is no accommodation available with this position, so please make sure you can get there and back everyday before you apply.
Possibility of livery for own horse.
