Opportunity Details

Rosetree Day Nursery provide a fully inclusive environment, promoting a total communication environment and adaptable approaches to activities to make them accessible to all.

As a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Apprentice you initially will move between baby, toddler and pre-school rooms receiving a variety of training,

Eventually you will be given Key Children and responsibilities including:

  • Planning activities,
  • Risk assessments,
  • Toileting,
  • Feeding,
  • Changing nappies,
  • Playing games.

Skills Required

  • Must be smart and presentable and have a keen interest in childcare

Qualifications Required

  • No qualifications required, although any expereince in childcare is an advantage

Training

Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. Bluebell Studios will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.

You will be working towards the Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship standard, which includes:

  • Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
  • Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Qualification
  • Functional skills in Maths and English if required


This will be delivered through Bluebell Studios' dedicated training provider, Realise.

Realise is an established training provider that’s enjoying an exciting period of growth following a management buyout and rebrand in late 2020.

Prospects

  • To progress onto a Level 3 Early years Educator.

Other Information

  • You will need to be able to pass a DBS
