Opportunity Details

Head Quarters Barbers and Beverages Ltd are working with Kleek Apprenticeships to help train new team members with the skills, knowledge and behaviours needed to become a qualified barber. Alongside the outstanding training being provided by the salon team and Kleek educators you will also be learning how a salon works, all while earning a wage.

Duties include:? Assisting stylists - Learn firsthand from seasoned professionals.? Reception and answering telephone enquiries - Be the welcoming face and voice of the barbers.? Greeting customers - Spread smiles and warmth to everyone who walks through the doors.? General shop duties - Dive into the heartbeat of a bustling barbers.

You will receive training towards modules including.? Consultations - Understand the client's vision and bring it to life.? Shampooing & Conditioning - Lay the foundation for gorgeous styles.? Conditioning and treating the hair and scalp - Nourish and revitalize the hair and scalp.? Cutting using a range of techniques - Craft precise and tailored hairstyles for clients.? Styling and finishing using a range of techniques - Achieve impeccable and personalised looks.? Cutting facial hair into shape - Sculpt and shape facial hair with precision.? Shaving services - Ensure a clean and polished appearance

Training

You will be training towards a Hair Professional Level 2 (Barbering) qualification, supported by Kleek Apprenticeships and the team at your home salon.

The Level 2 qualification in Barbering includes; consultation, shampoo/condition and treating the hair, cutting hair using a range of techniques, style and finish hair.�

You do not need any formal qualifications to start the apprenticeship however you will need to have passed English and maths to complete it. Kleek Apprenticeships will help you gain these functional skills alongside the apprenticeship with our bespoke learning modules.

Prospects

After you have completed your Hair Professional Level 2 (Barbering) you will be a fully qualified barber and will be able to work independently within your salon.

You will be able to develop your skills further by advancing onto any of the other apprenticeships available with Kleek Apprenticeships, each of which will allow you to increase your knowledge add to your skill set and become ever more valuable to your salon.

Other Information

Once you have successfully completed the program you will be submitted for your End Point Assessment. The EPA is an assessment of all the knowledge, skills and behaviours you have learned throughout your apprenticeship, it confirms you are ready and competent in the career path you have chosen.

These assessments have been designed and developed by employers in the hairdressing industry to reflect the daily work of a hairdresser. This makes them very sought after by employers across the industry.
