What sets XDP aside from other delivery companies is the fact that we operate our own logistics network of over 35 UK overnight parcel depots & 15 2-man depots. Our 9-acre central distribution site is well positioned in the heart of the Midlands, operating a manual sorting system with a capacity to handle over 40,000 parcels per night.

XDP is looking to recruit a Multi-Channel Marketing apprentice to support with functions of digital marketing and business communications to drive demand for our products and services. 

Main Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in creation and scheduling of content for social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, etc)
  • Support with email marketing campaigns, including writing content, managing mailing lists and monitor and report on it's performance using tools like social media insights. 
  • Help maintain and update company websites with new content and media. 
  • Support delivery of SEO strategies. 
  • Conduct market and competitor research.
  • Plan and coordinate promotional events.

Desirable Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Organisational skills with the ability to multitask.

  • Creative thinking with an eye for design and detail. 

Desired:

  • Basic understanding of marketing principles and tools like Canva, Mailchimp, Google Analytics.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms.
  • Competent computer skills including Microsoft office.
Entry Requirements:
  • 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject
You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.   If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.    For more information please visit the UK ENIC website.
