Opportunity Details

About the Apprenticeship

You’ll be enrolled in the AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting through an approved training provider, with dedicated study time alongside your job. You’ll learn the foundations of accounting, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, and basic business communication.

While you learn, you’ll apply your skills in a practical setting — supporting finance operations, learning office systems, and gaining confidence in professional processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support with processing invoices, receipts, and payments

  • Assist in maintaining accurate financial records

  • Use software like Excel and accounting platforms (e.g., Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks)

  • Help prepare reports and financial summaries

  • Carry out general administrative tasks (e.g., filing, document handling, emails)

  • Learn about financial regulations, compliance, and internal controls

What We’re Looking For:

  • Enthusiasm to learn and build a career in finance or administration

  • Good attention to detail and accuracy

  • Strong communication and IT skills

  • GCSEs in English and Maths at grade 4/C or above

  • Reliability, a proactive attitude, and willingness to work as part of a team
