Our services include Business Rates reviews and appeals, Business Energy procurement, Card Payment Solutions, and Waste Management. We analyse existing costs, identify savings opportunities and provide tailored commercial solutions to help businesses lower overheads and improve performance.
The successful candidate will support the day-to-day running of the business, communicate with clients and assist the Director and wider team with administrative duties.
The Candidate’s Role Will Include:
Answering incoming telephone calls and making outbound calls
Speaking with existing and potential clients
Dealing with customer enquiries in a professional manner
Managing and responding to emails
Handling incoming and outgoing post
Updating client records and internal systems
Data entry and maintaining accurate customer information
General administrative duties
Preparing and organising documents
Booking and managing client appointments
Basic bookkeeping and invoice-related administrative tasks
Updating customer cases and maintaining accurate notes
Using Microsoft Word, Excel and other office software
Supporting the day-to-day operations of the business
Reporting directly to the Director
Skills required
The ideal candidate will:
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Be confident speaking with customers over the telephone
Have strong customer service skills
Be professional, reliable and punctual
Be able to use their own initiative
Be able to work independently as well as part of a team
Have good organisational and time-management skills
Be able to prioritise workloads and work to deadlines
Have excellent attention to detail
Be able to maintain accurate records
Have good problem-solving and decision-making skills
Be comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
Be adaptable when priorities change
Have a proactive attitude towards learning and developing new skills
Be confident using computers and office systems
Have basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Previous experience using CRM systems or bookkeeping software such as Sage would be an advantage, although training can be provided
Qualifications required
GCSEs at Grades 9–4 (A*–C) or equivalent, including English and Mathematics.
