What to Expect

Our 2-year Apprenticeship Programme gives you the opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining hands-on experience in stakeholder communications, data analysis, reporting and business operations while working towards a Level 4 Investment Operations Specialist Apprenticeship. Supported by coaches, mentors and industry professionals, you'll develop valuable skills and build a strong foundation for a career in banking and financial services.

Our Operations team is at the heart of the bank, helping to ensure transactions are processed accurately and efficiently. The Treasury team supports trading activities by managing trade capture, confirmations, settlements and other key processes that keep the business running smoothly. This is a great opportunity to gain an understanding of how investment banking works behind the scenes and the important role Operations plays in supporting clients and markets.

What you'll do

  • Support the processing and settlement of foreign exchange (FX) and money market trades.

  • Help ensure transactions are completed accurately and on time.

  • Assist with trade confirmations, event management and operational activities.

  • Review and maintain records, reports and documentation.

  • Work with colleagues across different teams to resolve queries and support business activities.

  • Contribute to projects and process improvements within the team.

  • Gain exposure to the day-to-day operations of a global investment bank.

Qualifications required

  • GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English (4 or above) and Mathematics (6 or above)

Training you'll get

BPP apprenticeship training programmes are delivered virtually by our fully qualified and industry-experienced training team. Using their expert knowledge, we’ve purposefully built our programmes around the real-world use of modern technology, so that the skills we create can be directly applied in the workplace.

Throughout the apprenticeship learners receive coaching, help and guidance from a dedicated team who are there to ensure they get the most from their work experience.
