Full Description:

As a Multi-Channel Marketing Apprentice at LINK Communication, you will support the planning, creation and delivery of marketing activity across a range of online and offline channels.

LINK is a fast-paced experiential marketing agency, creating engaging brand experiences, promotional campaigns, sampling activity and live events for a range of well-known brands. This role provides an exciting opportunity to gain practical marketing experience while working towards a recognised Multi-Channel Marketer Level 3 qualification.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns across social media, email, websites and other digital and offline channels.

  • Create engaging written and visual content for social media, company updates, case studies and marketing materials.

  • Help maintain the company’s social media accounts and schedule content.

  • Assist with updating website content and keeping information accurate and up to date.

  • Support the promotion of LINK’s services, campaigns, achievements and job opportunities.

  • Gather campaign information, images and results to help create case studies and award entries.

  • Carry out market, competitor and audience research.

  • Help maintain customer and prospect information within the company CRM system.

  • Support email marketing activity and assist with building appropriate contact lists.

  • Monitor the performance of marketing activity and help prepare basic reports.

  • Work with colleagues across the Campaigns, Sales, Design and Production teams to gather content and promote the work of the business.

  • Ensure marketing materials follow company branding and are accurate before publication.

  • Keep up to date with marketing trends, social media platforms and new ideas that could benefit the business.

  • Complete all apprenticeship training, coursework and assessments within the required timescales.

Training and Development

You will receive practical, on-the-job training alongside dedicated time to complete your Multi-Channel Marketer Level 3 apprenticeship. You will be supported by your line manager, colleagues and apprenticeship training provider throughout the programme.

Qualifications required

GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above, or equivalent.

Applicants without the required English and Maths qualifications must be willing to work towards Functional Skills qualifications as part of the apprenticeship.

No previous marketing experience is required, although an interest in marketing, social media and content creation is essential.

Training and Development:

Training Provided:

Using their expert knowledge, we’ve purposefully built our programmes around the real-world use of modern technology, so that the skills we create can be directly applied in the workplace.

Throughout the apprenticeship learners receive coaching, help and guidance from a dedicated team who are there to ensure they get the most from their work experience.

Successful completion of this apprenticeship gives you an accredited Level 3 Digital Marketing and AI Executive and Certified Digital Marketing Professional by DMI, with training in how to:

  • Master the art of crafting compelling content tailored for diverse audiences and a variety of marketing channels, ensuring sensitivity and effectiveness in communication.

  • Analyse and integrate information from the multi-channel marketing landscape to inform and optimise both short-term tactics and long-term strategies.

  • Implement secure, innovative solutions using a broad spectrum of digital tools and platforms, ensuring seamless user experiences while achieving marketing objectives.

  • Conduct comprehensive reviews and analyses of multi-channel marketing activities, measuring success and providing actionable recommendations for enhancement.

  • Create and interpret insightful analytical dashboards utilising advanced digital tools, facilitating data-driven decision-making.

Future prospects

On successful completion of the apprenticeship, there may be an opportunity to progress into a permanent marketing role within the business, such as Marketing Assistant, Marketing Executive or Campaign Executive. Further training and development opportunities may also be available, depending on individual performance and the needs of the business.
