About the Company

The Motor Company is a family established and run businessbased in Taunton, Somerset. It is predominantly a car dealership selling newand used cars, parts and repairs to vehicles and has a strong reputation in thearea having been there since 1986.


What You'll Do at Work

Working closely with the wider team, you'll support a rangeof administrative and organisational tasks, helping to ensure the smoothrunning of the office.

This varied role may include:


  • Managing emails, telephone enquiries and visitor communications
  • Maintaining accurate records, databases and filing systems
  • Supporting diary management and meeting administration
  • Preparing documents, letters, reports and correspondence
  • Updating spreadsheets and organisational systems
  • Supporting compliance and data management processes
  • Assisting with the organisation of events, activities and community initiatives
  • Liaising with colleagues, volunteers, service users and external stakeholders
  • Handling incoming and outgoing post
  • Ordering office supplies and maintaining stock levels
  • Supporting managers with general administrative tasks and projects
  • Providing excellent customer service and professional communication at all times
  • This role is across all departments of the business and will include some accounts administration

Training

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a collegeor training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spenttraining or studying.
