The HR Apprenticewill provide administrative and operational supportacross a wide range of Human Resources activities, helping todeliver an excellent employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle.
This role offers an opportunity to gain broadexperience in HR whilst supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee records, HR systems and peopleprocesses. The postholder will work closely with colleagues across the organisation, contributing to theeffective delivery of HR services and supporting the continued growth anddevelopment of the business.Recruitment & Onboarding
• Support recruitment activities, including advertising vacancies,arranging interviews andcommunicating with candidates.
• Prepare offer letters, contracts of employment and onboarding documentation.
•Coordinate new starter processesand induction arrangements.
•Maintain recruitment and onboardingrecords.
HR Administration
•Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR systems.
•Process employee lifecycle changes,including starters, changes and leavers.
•Generate HR documentation and correspondence as required.
•Support the administration of employee benefitsand other people-related initiatives.
• Ensure employee records comply with company requirements and dataprotection principles.
Employee Support
•Act as a first point of contact for routine HR queries.
• Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures, escalating morecomplex issues where appropriate.
• Support managers and employees with day-to-day administrative requests.
HR Projects& Reporting
•Assist with HR projects and continuousimprovement initiatives.
•Prepare HR reports, metrics and managementinformation.
Support activities relating to employeeengagement, wellbeing, learning and developmentand other people initiatives.Perks & benefits
Skills required
· Good IT skills, includingMicrosoft Word, Excel and Outlook and a keen interest in AI.
· Strong organisational andadministrative skills.
· Good written and verbalcommunication skills.
· Excellent attention to detail.
· Ability to manage prioritiesand meet deadlines.
· Ability to handle confidentialinformation appropriately.
Qualifications required
GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4/C or aboveare required. Additional qualifications at GCSE, A Level, BTEC or equivalentare desirable.
