We’re on the search for Apprentice Nandocas (what we call our Team Members) to join us!
As a back of house Apprentice Team Member at Nando’s, you will be working towards a Level 2 Kitchen Services Apprenticeship over the duration of 12 months, learning and growing in your role. We’ll give you on the job training and development, on the job support, real-time coaching, and help you build your own unique learning plan.

The role of a Back of House Nandoca is simple… to prepare and make the finest Peri-Peri meals to wow every guest. It's up to us to make sure our customers leave feeling happy, having had a really positive experience.
What I do
I make our guests feel valued as part of our family by assisting with preparing their meals to Nando’s high standards.
- Cooking our sides making salads and getting food sent out in a timely manner
I set up, maintain, hand over and close down clean, safe and fully operational workstations.
I handle deep cleaning to Nando’s high standards
I follow all fire safety, health and safety, food hygiene and restaurant security measures

To become an apprentice, you must:
- be 16 or over
- not already be in full-time education
As an apprentice you’ll:
- complete a L2 Kitchen Services Apprenticeship
- have regular one to one sessions with a dedicated trainer either remotely or through visits to your workplace
- learn and train for a specific job
- get paid and receive holiday leave
- get hands-on experience in a real job
- 6 hours a week paid time to study
- complete assessments during and at the end of your apprenticeship
- be on a career path with lots of future potential
