What to Expect
Our 2-year Apprenticeship Programme gives you the opportunity to earn while you learn,gaining hands-on experience in client communications, data analysis, reporting and business operations while working towards a Level 6 Financial Services Professional Apprenticeship (18 months) - leading to the Associated Chartered Banker Diploma. Supported by coaches,mentors and industry professionals, you'll develop valuable skills and build a strong foundation for a career in banking and financial services.
The Portfolio & Asset Management team helps manage major energy and infrastructure projects after funding has been provided, supporting clients and helping the bank manage risk. Working with teams across the business, they play an important role in protecting the bank's investments and building long-term client relationships.
What you'll do
- Support the management of major energy, infrastructure and housing projects.
- Help monitor investments and identify potential risks, with guidance from experienced colleagues.
- Work with clients and teams across the bank to support long-term business relationships.
- Produce reports and insights that help inform business decisions.
- Leverage AI technology to conduct analysis, streamline tasks, and support team efficiency.
- Support the onboarding of new projects and maintain accurate records.
- Contribute to projects that help protect and grow the bank's investments.
- Gain hands-on experience in financial analysis, risk management and portfolio management from day one.

Training you'll get
BPP apprenticeship training programmes are delivered virtually by our fully qualified and industry-experienced training team. Using their expert knowledge, we’ve purposefully built our programmes around the real-world use of modern technology, so that the skills we create can be directly applied in the workplace.
Throughout the apprenticeship learners receive coaching, help and guidance from a dedicated team who are there to ensure they get the most from their work experience.
