Supported by experienced consultants and managers, you'll learn every aspect of the recruitment process—from sourcing candidates and building relationships with clients to ensuring compliance and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
No previous recruitment experience is required—just enthusiasm, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
Use a variety of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, alongside recruitment software and online platforms.
Source suitable candidates using online job boards, social media and other recruitment tools.
Conduct telephone screening interviews to assess candidate suitability, skills and career aspirations.
Write, advertise and manage engaging job vacancies across multiple platforms.
Shortlist candidates and match them to suitable opportunities within the construction industry.
Support candidate registration, right-to-work checks, ID verification and compliance documentation.
Arrange interviews between candidates and clients and provide interview preparation where appropriate.
Liaise with internal departments, including payroll, to ensure candidate information is accurate and up to date.
Maintain and update the company database with candidate and client information.
Deliver excellent customer service to both candidates and clients throughout the recruitment process.
Learn to independently manage recruitment campaigns and fill vacancies across the construction sector.
Work towards individual and team recruitment targets while maintaining high service standards.
Participate in the team's on-call rota, responding to out-of-hours calls and supporting clients and candidates when required.
Develop a thorough understanding of recruitment processes, compliance standards and construction sector knowledge.
