Legal Administrator Apprentice

The role will involve supporting the administration of personal injury files from initial client onboarding through to file closure. This will include gathering and processing client information, carrying out system searches and checks, arranging appointments, maintaining accurate records, preparing correspondence and documentation, managing workflows, and liaising with clients, colleagues and external contacts as required.
The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent organisational skills, a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining professional standards and client confidentiality. They will act as a key point of contact for department-related enquiries and provide timely and professional assistance to clients and colleagues within their agreed remit.
Carrying out system searches and being able to identify conflict/ duplicates relating to client ID checks.
Liaising with Legal Support Services (LSS) and performing all associated tasks, including but not limited to:
File closures.
Maintaining all filing and work areas in a tidy and orderly manner.
To work as an effective team member and assist other staff in their work to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the department and firm.

Future prospects
On a regular basis your team leader/supervisor will monitor your workload and performance. You will have a 1-2-1 at least once a quarter (usually once a month), which will include discussions on performance and targets, objectives, development and welfare. There will be an annual review where your team leader/supervisor will look with you at performance over the last twelve months but, more importantly, look to the future, mapping out your goals and objectives for the following year.
