Description of Company:
Criminal defence firm of solicitors, primarily legal aid, representing people accused of criminal offences at the police station, Magistrates Court, Crown Court and Appeal Courts.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reading documents
- Applying for legal aid
- Corresponding with other parts of the criminal justice system
- Taking instructions from clients
- Advising clients.
- Once accredited, attending the police station to represent clients

Future prospects
AT completion of the apprenticeship we would review and, if they have shown the drive and a passion for criminal defence, such as by becoming fully police station accredited, offer a job as a solicitor.
