Earn up to 60,000 € per annum (our pay system is benchmarked, transparent and fair)
- Full-time, Permanent contract, starting ASAP.
- Working time will be subject to a "convention de forfait jours" meaning there is no fixed weekly hours but instead a maximum number of days worked annually giving the required autonomy to organise your work and working time.
- Based at PGL Château de Grande Romaine near Paris which has a bed capacity of 550 and welcomes a team of up to 70 colleagues at peak season.

What to expect as General Manager at Château de Grande Romaine
Château de Grande Romaine is our beautiful centre based in Lésigny on the outskirts of Paris where we offer a unique experience of both on-site activities and enriching off-site excursions to guests that visit. We are recruiting for a permanent contract to run this centre, overseeing the different aspects of the operation including the hospitality departments, guest experience team and the relationships with local out-sourced businesses. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you’ll develop and lead a motivated team, overseeing the operation and ensuring our high standards of customer care and health and safety are delivered with excellence.

Excellent leadership, engagement and communication skills are only part of the role. We are looking for someone who has the skillset to truly deliver the PGL Beyond vision through outstanding colleague engagement, commercial drive and customer experience worthy of this wonderful centre in Seine-et-Marne, France.
- Senior operational management experience from the outdoor activity sector or similar sector with a residential provision
- Confident in managing budgets, cost planning, reporting and forecasting
- A demonstratable track record in delivering amazing guest experiences, able to listen, understand and effectively provide solutions
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Knowledge of safeguarding principles and responsibilities
- Commitment to upholding strict Health, Safety and Food Hygiene standards
