Duties and Responsibilities
Collaboration: Work with the IT team and other departments to support overall IT operations.
Software Installation: Assist with installing software across the business.
Onboarding Support: Help set up new starters with access ID cards, laptops, mobile phones, and more.
IT Support: Provide basic IT assistance and liaise with teams to support daily operations.
Hardware Maintenance: Update and test equipment to ensure software installation supports business needs.
Quality Control: Perform system and quality checks on hardware and software.
Skills required
Some knowledge in building PCs would be preferable
Exposure of Windows XP, Windows 10
Basic electronics knowledge
Understanding of basic networking principles
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
The flexibility and willingness to learn
Qualifications required
5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent, including English Language and Maths.

Successful completion of this apprenticeship gives you an accredited Level 3 Information Communications Technician, with training in how to:
· Efficiently operate and control your ICT infrastructure – physical or virtual hardware, software, network services and at a storage.
· Use infrastructure management tools to automate the provisioning, testing, deployment and monitoring of infrastructure components.
· Prioritise systems support tasks and monitor and maintaining system performance.
· Maintain regulatory, legal and professional standards.
· Support the information systems needs for your business.
