If you have a good understand of Business Administration and love working with children, supporting them in growing and developing, and enjoy your working day alongside a supportive team, then we are the Team for you!

Key Responsibilities:
  • To promote a fun, high quality and home-like environment for all of the children
  • Working in partnership with parents and carers by completing necessary documentation at the end of each day and discussing children’s development.
  • Working closely with senior staff to support the continued development of the Day Care
  • Working with the Management Team to coordinating daily administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the environment.
  • Maintaining the general upkeep of the Daycare to ensure they are kept to the highest standard.
  • As the first point of contact for parents and carers, responding to email/phone inquiries and concerns.
  • Organising and maintaining accurate records, both paper-based and electronic systems.
  • Handling invoicing and payments, keeping track of staffing ratio's, and budget planning and management.
  • Assisting to order and manage supplies to ensure we are well-stocked and equipped.
  • Supporting practitioners during staff shortages by working directly with children and ensuring high-quality care and education.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures including child protection, safeguarding, and data protection and GDPR.
  • Ability to work in a team and demonstrate team player qualities, while also being self-motivated and using your own initiative
  • Assisting the Directors in other Business Matters, such as invoicing, emails and daily business operations.

This role requires you to have a good grasp of English, both written and spoken to support children, parents and your colleagues.

Training you'll get

Future prospects

As a small Daycare we always offer in house opportunities to our employees to develop their professional skills. Staff regularly conduct training courses, meetings and always interact with other staff to plan and deliver opportunities. There is room for movement within the company depending on qualification.
