Trainee Electroplater

We have a vacancy for a keen and enthusiastic individual to train to be a qualified Electroplater within the Plating team based at our Exmouth site.
As a Trainee Electroplating Operative you will be learn to be responsible for the following:
- Day to day running of electroplating production lines (mainly gold and nickel)
- Monitoring and adjusting process equipment for best performance
- Maintaining cleanliness of the plating lines and production area
- Changing the settings to specific job orders
- Quality checking on first offs
- Taking parts off of jigs and inspecting them (visually)
- Regular checking of the chemicals, temperature controls, and monitoring/adjusting of machinery
- Handling hazardous chemicals
Initially the role will be a trainee role and will be supported and trained by experienced Electroplaters. There will be the opportunity to study for a recognised industry qualification.
We have a variety of shifts and the successful applicant would be expected to show flexibility in regards the shifts they can work.
