As an Apprentice Contract Manager, you will support the successful delivery of commercial tiling and stonework projects from planning through to completion. Working alongside experienced managers, you will learn how construction projects are organised, monitored and delivered safely, on time and to a high standard.
Your responsibilities will include:
Reviewing project drawings, specifications and programmes.
Assisting with project planning before works commence.
Attending pre-start, project and site meetings.
Supporting the coordination of labour and subcontractors.
Visiting sites to monitor progress and quality.
Recording site progress using photographs and written updates.
Identifying and reporting site issues, delays and access restrictions.
Assisting with organising materials and deliveries.
Monitoring progress against project programmes.
Supporting quality inspections and snagging activities.
Assisting with health and safety requirements on site.
Maintaining accurate project records and documentation.
Supporting communication with site teams, subcontractors and clients.
Assisting with client inspections and project handovers.
Learning about variations, project costs and commercial processes.
This role involves travelling to different project sites across London, therefore a full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications required
GCSE or equivalent Maths and English at grade 4/C or above.
A Levels (or a Level 3 qualification equivalent) are essential.
Due to the nature of the role, a Full UK driving licence is required.
Training you'll get
As part of your Apprenticeship, you will be enrolled onto a nationally recognised Level 4 Construction Site Supervisor Apprenticeship standard via our training partner, Learning Skills Partnership. Your Apprenticeship typically takes 21 months to complete and is fully supported through a combination of regular online lessons, e-learning materials, and access to their team of experts for 1-2-1 advice and support.
