The Role
We're looking to recruit an apprentice with a keen interest in toolmaking, CNC and manual machining — someone who can see a future for themselves learning a skill that develops, over the years, into a profession that could set them up for life. You'll work closely with our experienced team to produce work to a high standard.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Training to programme and operate CNC and manual lathes, milling and grinding machines, as well as learning high-precision toolmaking
  • Manufacturing components for bespoke machines developed and built on site, and for individual customer orders
  • Maintaining good levels of housekeeping in the machine shop, working in accordance with 5S practices
  • Complying with company health and safety policies and practices

GCSE Maths and English Grade 4 or above

Future prospects

As you progress through the apprenticeship, there's flexibility to focus more closely on areas of specific interest. Many of our apprentices have progressed through the company and now hold senior roles.
