- Support the management of customer accounts and help keep payments on track.

Accounts Payable
- Process and code supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Reconcile supplier statements and investigate any discrepancies.
- Support weekly and monthly payment runs.
- Help maintain accurate financial records and ensure supplier queries are resolved promptly.

- A minimum of 2 GCSE's Grade A* - C or Grade 4 and above including Maths and English language
- 2 x A-Levels in any subject at grade A* - D or equivalent
- You are not eligible for this scheme if you currently hold or are working towards a qualification at the same or higher level in a related subject or have already studied content from the qualification for this scheme
- You must be 18 years old by September 2026 to be eligible for this scheme

Assistant Accountant Apprenticeship Level 3 - AAT
This Level 3 programme builds on the foundations for entrylevel talent to support growth within an Accountancy and Finance function.
Employees on this apprenticeship will ensure an Accountancyand Finance practice performs in the most effective way. It includes the AATLevel 3 Diploma in Accounting and provides the opportunity for them to supportthe business with essential skills and behaviours to drive results.
You will learn how to prepare financial statements for SoleTraders and Partnerships, the importance of management accounting information,and how to prepare VAT returns. You’ll develop the technical skills to start,or progress, your career in accountancy and this will allow you to continuewith your studies onto Level 4.
To pass this level you will need to study the following fourunits:
- Financial Accounting; Preparing Financial Statements (FAPS).
- Management Accounting Techniques (MATS).
- Tax Processes for Business (TPFB).
- Business Awareness (BUAW).
Future prospects
- On successful completion of the apprenticeship, you may be offered a permanent role in one of the finance teams.
- You’ll also have the opportunity to continue your studying towards a higher qualification (such as CIMA, ACCA or ACA).
