What You'll Do
As a Business Administration Apprentice, you’ll support the team with a range of day-to-day administrative and customer service tasks, including:
Completing general administration and office support
Typing and preparing emails, letters and documents
Filing and maintaining accurate records
Using Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
Answering telephone calls and dealing with enquiries
Communicating with customers and visitors professionally
Inputting and updating data on internal systems
Responding to requests for information
Managing and organising documents
Supporting colleagues with administrative tasks
Handling confidential information appropriately
Following company policies and procedures, including Health & Safety, Equal Opportunities and confidentiality requirements
Taking on additional responsibilities as your skills and experience develop

Requirements
5 GCSEs, including Maths and English, at Grade 5/C or above
An interest in developing a career in business administration and asset finance
Training & Development
You’ll work towards a Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard while gaining practical experience in the workplace.
Your training will cover areas including:
Microsoft Office and business IT systems
Business administration
Data entry and data analysis
Preparing business documents and correspondence
Record keeping and document management
Customer service and communication
Handling confidential information
Organisation and time management
Problem-solving and decision-making
Supporting business processes and projects
You’ll also complete Level 2 Functional Skills in Maths and English if required.
20% of your working time will be dedicated to training and development, with support from a tutor throughout the apprenticeship.
