You’ll join the Audit Team, gaining hands-on experience across audit, accounts and financial administration while learning from experienced professionals. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in accounting, auditing or finance.


What You’ll Do

As an Accounting Apprentice, you’ll develop practical accounting and audit skills, including:

  • Assist with audit planning and preparation
  • Support the delivery of financial audits
  • Carry out audit testing and record findings
  • Review and analyse financial records and statements
  • Gather and check financial information from clients
  • Develop an understanding of business processes and financial controls
  • Prepare and maintain accurate audit files and working papers
  • Identify and report potential issues to senior members of the audit team
  • Support general accounting and finance administration
  • Organise your workload and meet deadlines

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is interested in building a career in accountancy, audit or finance and is keen to learn.


Essential

  • GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent)
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own car
  • Interest in accounting, auditing or finance
  • Good attention to detail
  • Logical and organised approach to work
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills, particularly Microsoft Excel

Desirable

  • A Levels or equivalent qualifications
  • Previous office, administration, finance or customer service experience
