About the Role
Are you caring, patient, and passionate about helping children thrive? Join a friendly team of early years educators who nurture and support children every day. As an Early Years Educator Apprentice, you'll help create a safe, stimulating environment — both indoors and outdoors — while learning to deliver a play-based EYFS curriculum that helps every child reach their full potential.
No previous experience is needed — full training is provided as part of your apprenticeship, and the programme can be tailored around any relevant skills or qualifications you already have.
What You'll Be Doing
- Providing a safe, caring, and stimulating learning environment indoors and outdoors
- Delivering a play-based Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum to support each child's individual progress
- Helping the nursery meet Ofsted requirements at all times
- Following nursery policies and procedures, including child protection, safeguarding, and emergency response
- Planning activities that support children's early learning outcomes
- Acting as a key person for a group of children
- Keeping accurate records (attendance, incidents, risk assessments)
- Building strong relationships with parents/carers, sharing updates on their child's progress
- Supporting senior management with self-evaluation and improvement planning
- Taking on other reasonable duties as part of the nursery team
