We are a family run rural business with interests in farming, racehorse training, & weddings & events at Hawke Barn, our beautifully restored 16th century barn.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Apprentice Administration & Events Assistant to support our busy office. this is an exciting opportunity to gain practical experience across several areas of the business while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

The role is varied & hand on, providing valuable experience in administration, hospitality, events & rural business operations. no two days are the same, and the successful candidate will play an important part in supporting both our busy office & our thriving events team.

Key Responsibilities:

Administration Support

-Handling telephone & email enquiries,

-Maintaining records & filing systems,

-Preparing correspondence & business documents,

-Assisting with diary management & appointment scheduling,

-Supporting the day to day running of the office.

Event & Wedding Support

-Assisting with wedding & event planning,

-Liaising with client suppliers & contractors,

-Helping with room & venue set up,

-Supporting guest coordination & event logistics,

-Assisting the team to ensure events run smoothly & professionally.

No previous experience is necessary, as full training will be provided throughout the apprenticeship.

Pay rates to reflect your age & experience typically from £10.00 with exceptional candidates rewarded more for their ability, Pay rates may be reviewed during the apprenticeship based on performance, progress & responsibilities. Hours of work 30 to 40 hour per week including occasional evening & weekend work to support weddings & events.
